THE CLUB NEEDS YOU!! (11/01/12)
For 2012 and beyond, we want our Cricket Club to be successful both on and off the field. The way this can be achieved is by the help and support of ALL our members and players.Firstly, we need more volunteers to help. There are many jobs and roles required to ensure the continuation of our cricket team and clubhouse. Whether it be a couple of hours in total or a day a week or month, the amount of time you give will be extremely important to us. We need more junior coaches, help on the bar, help making cricket teas or providing refreshments on all match days (seniors and juniors), volunteers to join our committees – management, cricket, social, sponsorship etc. Volunteering can be extremely rewarding and is a great addition to a Personal CV. The more help we receive, the stronger the club will grow. Can you help?
We also need help with the maintenance and up keep of the clubhouse and ground. Have any of you got any useful skills that we could use? Are you a Plumber, Joiner, Plasterer, Roofer, Painter, Gardener........the list is endless?
The day to day running costs and upkeep of the club are very costly and we rely solely on self funding and sponsorship. Would any of you sponsor a match, do you own your own company and would take up a sponsorship deal with us, or do you work for a company who is looking for a sponsorship deal?
Finally we need more cricketers. Our juniors start at age 7 and we have a number of senior teams. Do you want to play at our club?
Hopefully the answer to one or all of these questions will be YES. Please send a reply back to us at hallparkcc@yahoo.co.uk as soon as possible. We will get back to you straight away.
Help us to help you make our club more successful, stronger and the place to be for Cricket in Horsforth.
From the Horsforth Hall Park Management Committee.
